Lee's Szechuan

I've been going here for years and have always enjoyed my food. Everything from fried rice to sushi. But, the last couple of times within the last 6 months, I've been disappointed. Not with customer service but the food. About 4/5 months ago, my sushi order seemed dry and wrong. My pieces were small and I don't believe my order was accurate. At that particular time, I had ordered online and took my food home immediately because I had a newborn so going back just wasn't an option. This led me to being hesitant to order again. However, I went against my better judgment and ordered shrimp egg foo young, eggrolls, spring rolls and beef fried rice. Easy, right? No! The "gravy" for the egg foo young was disgusting and salty as all outdoors. Definitely tasted like a salt packet with oil and water added placed in a container. Not gravy from scratch at all. The eggrolls were missing the shrimp and very oily. The spring rolls were very oily as well and the beef fried rice was flavorless and also oily. I'm not sure if the quality goes down in the evening or the cook they used to have, is no longer. I won't be back unless someone can prove to me that the quality has gone back to what it used to be.

I want to share an awesome dining experience from yesterday. The owner Ms. Quinn treated each of our guests to an amazing luncheon. She was extremely attentive. She personally made sure that our party of 12 people celebrating my daughter’s birthday thoroughly enjoyed the food. The owner Ms. Quinn is a very involved owner. Extremely dedicated owner. I have had the pleasure of eating at her restaurant on several occasions. I am always impressed with the quality of the food, selection and service. She never disappoints. Been going here for years but I haven't been in a long time. Today I ended up getting sushi and a whole lunch meal which was a huge mistake. My eyes were way bigger than my stomach today! Got the Jade and Crazy Tuna rolls, along with the chicken lo mein lunch meal with fried rice, wonton soup, and egg roll sides. The waitress was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating since my friend and I were on a time crunch for our lunch break. Food was delicious and ended up taking most of the lunch meal home for dinner. Normally food is affordable here but our check got out of hand with all the food we both got.
